CEO Corner: FINDING THE HIDDEN PROFITS

I have been on the road these past few weeks visiting with clients talking to veterinarians and their staff about finding the “HIDDEN PROFITS” in their practice. Many seem very enthusiastic, but have trouble implementing a plan of action.
Finding “HIDDEN PROFITS” means reducing unprofitable activities, so you can focus your energy on the areas that promote your practice. This does not require a change in what you purchase. But may require a change in behavior in how you purchase. Many clinics say, “this is the way we do things,” vs “this is what we need to do today.” As the market and competition change, so must you change.
